Ms. Amy Middleton,

Principal

Mrs. Middleton is known to work hard and play hard.  She’s 100% Aggie, Class of ‘93!

She is passionate about her job, and she leads with her heart.  She learns as much from her teachers and students as they learn from her.  She knows if she’s the smartest person in the room, then she’s in the wrong room. That is, she embraces the joy of life-long learning, and she values her time to reflect daily.  She is intentional about promoting continuous growth for herself, her staff and her students.

In addition to “principaling,” she likes to exercise, go to the movie theater, and read for pleasure.  She also enjoys cooking and loves trying out new recipes, especially those on the healthy side.

Ms. Keisha McKnight,

Assistant Principal and Campus Behavior Coordinator

Ms. McKnight, also known as Ms. McNugget, proudly serves as the Assistant Principal at Timber Creek Elementary. She has a passion for fostering educational excellence and creating a supportive and enriching environment for all students. 

This will be Ms. McKnight’s 17th year in LISD, and 25th year in education.  Prior to this year, she has served as an assistant principal, a Reading/Language Arts Facilitator and years of joyous classroom teaching. Seven of those years were at Timber Creek, so she is very happy to serve at TCE in the role of assistant principal.  

A proud alumna of the University of Oklahoma, Ms. McKnight earned her Bachelor Of Education before pursuing her Master’s in Educational Leadership at Concordia University. 

Outside of her professional life, she is a loving mother of three. Her two oldest children have graduated from LISD and the youngest is a senior.   You can find her cheering on the sidelines of her boys football games or visiting her daughter and pink new grandbaby! 

Ms. McKnight loves the color yellow! It is her goal to spread sunshine in life along with happiness, positivity, energy and warmth.  She is honored to be a part of the cheerfulness and optimism that is part of the culture at Timber Creek Elementary School and  the community.
